Next to Gialova Lagoon, which is protected by Natura 2000, Voidokoilia has become Messinia’s favorite beach for families due to its crystal clear, shallow waters. Foneas Beach
One of the best beaches near Kalamata, it has a “killer” name… The beautiful beach of Foneas is not threatening at all, on the contrary, it will enchant you with its blue-green waters and scenic landscape. The shore with fine pebbles is separated by a huge boulder that creates a natural breakwater, while the green landscape invites you to spend a whole day here relaxing and snorkeling.
